Express Yourself. Find Community.

Creative NDIS workshops on the Sunshine Coast; arts, performance, music, dance, and cooking.

Our Workshops

Ten workshops across arts, performance, life skills and community connection. Each workshop is designed to be engaging, inclusive, and tailored to support individual goals and interests.

Visual Arts

From painting and drawing to printmaking and mixed media, our visual arts workshops celebrate creative freedom and individual expression. Participants develop their own unique style in a fully equipped professional art studio, with opportunities to exhibit work in the community.

Performing Arts

Theatre, music and dance come together in a collaborative creative journey. Participants lead the development process, building acting, vocal and movement skills, before performing in a major theatrical production each year in a mainstream theatre.

Music

Play and create music in a friendly, inclusive environment with expert musician tutors. Participants sing, learn instruments, write original songs and perform live - with opportunities to connect and collaborate across Spiral's wider creative programs.

Shooting Stars Dance

Experience choreography and performance as part of a dynamic, inclusive dance company. Participants contribute their own creative ideas, learn a variety of styles and movement skills, and work towards an end-of-year performance that celebrates every person's contribution.

Garden to Plate

From growing seasonal produce in Spiral's accessible gardens to cooking nutritious meals in a commercial kitchen, this hands-on workshop builds real cooking, horticultural and life skills - including budgeting, shopping and healthy eating habits.

Cooking on a Budget

Build confidence in the kitchen while learning practical skills that make a real difference in everyday life. Participants plan and prepare healthy, affordable meals together, explore budgeting and grocery shopping, and develop greater independence - all in a relaxed and social environment.

Upcycle Project Runway

Transform recycled and repurposed materials into one-of-a-kind fashion pieces through sewing, design and creativity. Participants develop practical making skills, experiment with colour and texture, and collaborate with others to bring their designs to life - building self-expression and confidence along the way.

Get Ahead

Build the skills and confidence needed to take the next step toward employment and greater independence. Get Ahead covers practical workplace readiness - communication, goal setting, navigating everyday situations and understanding what employers look for, all in a supportive group setting.

Health & Wellbeing

Explore the connection between healthy choices, movement and community in a welcoming group environment. Participants take part in hands-on cooking sessions, gentle movement activities and conversations about wellbeing - developing positive habits and meaningful connections with others.

Micro Business

Turn a creative idea into something real. Participants explore the basics of running a small business - designing and making products, understanding pricing and presentation, and discovering how to connect with customers, building entrepreneurial thinking and practical skills along the way.
