Spiral is a not-for-profit organisation supporting adults with disability on the Sunshine Coast since 1981. Guided by Social Role Valorisation, we create real community belonging and meaningful roles for the people we support.

Clear and Timely Communication

Every participant has a dedicated Service Coordinator. We respond same day or next business day for general enquiries, address urgent matters within 4 business hours, and agree progress update preferences in advance.

Transparent and Reliable Processes

Clear referral, onboarding, and service commencement steps every time. Easy Read service agreements are available. We provide weekly invoices with itemised details and early budget alerts so there are no surprises.

Collaborative Approach

We work closely with Support Coordinators, allied health, and other providers. We participate in stakeholder meetings, implement allied health strategies, and provide proactive problem-solving for complex schedules.

Risk, Safety, and Quality Assurance

Safeguarding and incident management is aligned with NDIS standards. Spiral is registered under Module 2A for Positive Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice. Feedback and escalation channels are clear and participant-friendly.

How to Refer to Spiral

A straightforward process from first contact to supports commencing. Typical onboarding takes up to 2 weeks.

Initial Enquiry

Call or email to check current capacity and fit. We aim to respond within 24-48 business hours.

Provide Referral Info

Share the referral details from the checklist below so we have everything needed to get supports started smoothly.

Fit & Capacity Check

We review the referral, confirm availability and suitability, and assign a dedicated Service Coordinator.

Optional Meet & Greet

The participant meets proposed staff before supports begin. Feedback is valued and informs final allocation.

Service Agreement

Service agreement is issued and signed, with schedules, supports, invoicing, and pricing outlined clearly.

06

Supports Commence

First day update provided and regular check-ins established from the outset.
